Please note that since COVID, at this time we are NOT offering scuba diving courses or PADI courses at our Zapatillas Dive Center in Al Natural. Diving is always possible; we organize diving with a diving center in Bocas del Toro that we know very well, Bocas Pirates Dive Center. They either come to the hotel when it is possible to dive near where we are, or we bring the divers to Bocas to do the diving in the morning, returning at 1 p.m. with lunch at the hotel. All diving activities MUST be booked in advance. Cost similar to that indicated below for a Fun Dive (2 tanks), which includes transport and diving (2 divers minimum).
Scuba dive in Panama: we are glad to offer our own diving tours and PADI courses at Al Natural Resort, in the archipelago of Bocas del Toro in Panama. We are taking small groups of divers to the protected reefs around the Zapatillas Cays in the national marine park. Also, there are the many nearby reefs inside the lagoon, including the very colorful soft coral gardens at Crawl Cay, and the large reefs on the open sea side of the island of Bastimentos, just behind the resort, where you can enjoy many impressive wall dives and cave explorations. The lagoon in front of Al Natural offers very enjoyable and safe waters to practice the PADI courses.
Dive in Panama : we are the only dive operator in the islands of Bocas del Toro who offers those dives regularly and who offers them at a competitive price due to our location, as we are far away from Bocas, but closest to the best dive sites and the Bastimentos National Marine Park in Bocas Del Toro. More remote trips to the famous Tiger Rock are also offered.
There is a 7% ITBM taxes to be added to the below prices.
Please note that all dives and dive courses need to be booked IN ADVANCE, at the same time than the booking of the stay or at least one month in advance.
FUN DIVES
- 2 tanks per dive:
$150.00 per person, minimum 2 divers
Includes: boat dive, dive master, captain, snack + all the fun dive equipment (tanks, belt, weights, BCD, mid-length wet suit, regulator and fins/mask/snorkel).
$10.00 discount per day if diver provides its own diving equipment except for tanks, belt and weights.
All the dive days need to be concomitant.
NIGHT DIVES
1 tank, including flashlight:
$100.00 per person (3 or more divers)
$150.00 per person (2 divers)
$10.00 discount per day if diver provides its own diving equipment except for tanks, belt and weights.
N.B. the NIGHT DIVES need to be done in connection with FUN DIVES done during the day, to be done all the same day, or the day after the night dive. If the Night dive is not done in connection with day FUN DIVES, there is an extra cost of $30.00 per diver for the night dive.
SPECIAL TRIP TO TIGER ROCK
2 tanks, dive master, captain, snack on the boat
- $200.00 per person (3 or more divers)
- $230.00 per person (2 divers)

MULTI DIVE PACKAGES
The following multiple tank dive packages are available (fun dives only, minimum 2 divers, 2 tanks per dive), price per person:
- 4 Dive Package (2 x 2 tanks): $270.00 p. p.
- 6 Dive Package (3x 2 tanks): $390.00 p.p.
Includes: 2 tank minimum boat dive, dive master, captain, snack + full dive equipment (tanks, belt and weight + BCD, wet suit, regulator and fins/mask/snorkel).
Are excluded night dives and more remote dives at Tiger Rock.

PADI DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING
Discover scuba diving provides an opportunity for anyone to try scuba diving under the supervision of a certified PADI instructor. This is perfect to learn a little bit about diving and go on an exploratory dive in the amazing full of coral heads and reefs lagoon from Panama. If you decide to go ahead with the full certification, this initiation can be credited towards your PADI Open Water Discover Certification.
Includes: 1 practice session and 1 initiation dive with instructor:
$200.00 per person (one diver)
$180.00 per person (two or more divers)
Experience a 2nd dive with instructor (1 tank): $60.00 p.p. (one or two divers) to be done right after the tank of the Discovery.
PADI OPEN WATER COURSE
This a 3-4 day course which includes practice sessions in shallow waters and four open water dives + full dive equipment (tanks, belt and weight, BCD, mid-length wet suit, fins/mask/snorkel for person taking the course). You will learn all the basic principles of diving, how to assemble your equipment, and most importantly, how to maximize the security and enjoyment of your dives. Upon completion, you will receive your PADI Open Water Diver Certification, which will allows you to dive down to 18 meters at any dive shop in the world and is valid for life!
The dive theory courses and exams need to be taken with PADI E-learning classes, it is a lot more practical, and thus once you are here, with us on vacations, you just need to do the dives, the fun stuff.
Includes: 5 confined water sessions + 4 open water dives from boat (practice and fun diving) + PADI Open Water Certification. 3-4 night minimum stay;

As you we deduct from our rate the cost of the e-learning you will have done with ADI, the cost of the course with us is $315.00 (one dive) and $285.00 p.p. (two divers), with the delivery of the e-learning certificate from PADI.
With one extra 2 tanks dive, $600.00 p.p. (two divers minimum) 4 night minimum stay.

5 tanks for fully certified diving buddy to the diver taking the open water course: $300.00.
PADI ADVANCED DIVE COURSE
This course is perfect for anyone with an Open Water Diver Certification who wants to explore more exiting and specialized diving. You can go on a night dive to see the different life that comes out after dark or a dive to 30 meters to check out the creatures of the deep, or maybe you will like to see a wreck of an old cargo ship resting in the reef. You will do 5 dives and be certified as a PADI Advanced Diver, which will allow you to dive up to 40 meters.
Advance courses available (is included 5 out of those advance specialties: CAVE DIVING, DEEP DIVING, NIGHT DIVING, NAVIGATION DIVE, PEAK PERFORMANCE BUYONCY, UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHY, DRIFT DIVING , WRECK DIVE and SEARCH & RECOVERY DIVE (+$50.00 per diver).
Includes: 5 dives (5 tanks) from dive boat, dive instructor, captain, snack + one extra fun dive (1 tank) + PADI Advance Diving Certification, 3 night minimum stay.
